“When my grandfather, JK, and my dad, Roger, started Cub Campers back in 1968, I bet they never imagined it would still be going fifty years later – but here we are 50 years later and stronger than ever”, says Fiona Fagan.
All up, more than 100 Cub owners (camping in around 40 Cubs) attended the Cub Campers celebrations held in October last year. “We are all pretty sure there have never been so many Cubs in one place, and what a sight it was”, she says. The event consisted of highly competitive ‘Cub set-up’ races (as fast as 1 minute 38 seconds!), Trivia, talks, a gala dinner, live music and great Aussie camping – Cub Style!
Cub are proud to be celebrating 50 years in Australian Manufacturing and in the Camping and Caravanning Industry and has produced more than 20,000 camper trailers. Cub Campers are known for their easy to open and close design, they are light to tow and light on fuel with spacious living areas.
To this day Cub remains in the Fagan family. Roger’s son Shane, who worked his way up from being an apprentice on the factory floor is now the Managing Director.
Cub Campers will be on site OS221 at the 2019 Townsville Expo with loads of campers on display, so stop by to speak to the team and check out these great Aussie made campers.
