Our purpose is to pre-empt, prevent, mitigate and manage the consequences of fire and other emergencies for Queensland communities. We deliver services to the community through the Queensland Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service Queensland.
The Qld SES is a volunteer-based emergency service whose role is to prepare for and respond to emergencies, including search and rescue operations across Queensland.
